I spend a few hours a month having the same type of conversation: should I become a rabbi or do Darshan Training?

To me, these programs are radically different when sat side by side. But I can see how prospective students might struggle between the two. Yes, I can give the specifics of academics. But to be honest, what we’re talking about is far more of a practical consideration than anything else.

Should you become a rabbi or a Jewish, lay spiritual leader? Here’s my take on it.
