The goal is always to write about the torah portion or the holidays by connecting what you see above with some kind of amazing teaching. In other words: don’t confuse the issue.
Looks like I’m not doing that.

Instead, I’m going to talk about Shavuot through the TV show Golden Girls, dairy products, Passover, customs, laws and stories. And hopefully, you’ll want to observe Shavuot, whether it’s with a community or on your own.
